The meeting place in Jiujiang Concession

1858年是对九江历史有着重要影响的一年。《天津条约》签订，九江因为其七省通衢的地理优势，被列入条约中增开的10个港口之一。

1858 was a year that had an important influence on the history of Jiujiang. The

《 Tianjin Treaty 》 was signed, and Jiujiang was listed as one of the 10 additional ports in the treaty because of its geographical advantage in the thoroughfare of seven provinces.

一时间，九江遍地充斥着洋商、洋行。1927年，在九江人民的奋起抗争下，在全国率先收回了租界地。2016年，为铭记历史、启迪后人，启动租界旧址修复改造工程，重现了九江66年 的租界史。九江口岸的开埠，以及中西文化碰撞对当地经济发展的影响，在民族矛盾的激发下民众奋起反抗，展现了一段可歌可泣的中国历史片段。

For a time, Jiujiang was flooded with foreign merchants and foreign firms. In 1927, under the uprising of the people of Jiujiang, the concession land was recovered first in the country. In 2016, in order to remember the history and enlighten future generations, the restoration and reconstruction project of the old concession site was launched. The 66-year history of the concession in Jiujiang, the opening of the port of Jiujiang Port, and the impact of the collision of Chinese and Western cultures on the local economic development are reproduced. The people have rebelled under the stimulus of ethnic contradictions, showing an epic piece of Chinese history.
